To him, sustainability means to reduce, reuse and recycle waste. "We should all change to recycled swimwear for the sake of future generations. The more people doing it, the faster our world will get better."

Lucas Amado, a professional skateboarder from Valencia, Spain, finds his connection to nature among the fishes below the sea surface. "Making the change to 100% recycled swimwear is the starting point of a movement, and a great way of feeling more integrated with nature. I like the idea of giving something a second life, and closing the circle."

Surfer Joshe Faulkner, based in Cape Town, South Africa, says he finds his calm in and by the ocean, and caring for it is a given. “Changing to recycled swimwear decreases the plastic pollution worldwide and in the ocean, which maintains the safety of our marine life. If more people did this, the overall health of our environment would be sustained.”

Model and surfer Alika Mock lives in North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. Growing up by the water has made him mindful of the environment. “As a surfer, I want to protect our oceans from reef damaging pollution, and making the change to recycled materials is an important step in the right direction. It’s about doing your part to better the health of the earth.”
