How do I return or exchange an item purchased in a store?
Items purchased in an H&M store may not be returned to hm.com.
Unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase date for a full refund. All returned items must have the tags attached, along with the original sales receipt.
Merchandise returned after 30 days or without the original sales receipt will require a valid photo ID. These returns will be refunded with an H&M merchandise credit at the current selling price, usable on future H&M store purchases.

How do I return an item purchased online?
H&M will refund any item(s), provided that the item(s) has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached. Undergarments and swimwear are final sale for hygienic reasons.
We are unable to accept returns of merchandise purchased online at our H&M Stores.
To return or exchange an item the original Packing Slip must be enclosed with all returns or exchanges. We do not accept returns or exchanges without the original packing slip.
Your package contains a Return and Exchange Form along with detailed instructions on how to return an item.
You can use our return label which is included in your package. The return shipping fee of $5.95, which will be deducted from the credit of the returned merchandise. If you have lost the return label you can contact Customer Service TOLL-FREE at 855- HNM SHOP (855-466-7467) and request a new one.
If you do not wish to use the return label, we recommend that all returns be sent with a traceable carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to our warehouse. H&M is not responsible for packages sent with a return label not provided by H&M. H&M does not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
