FOUR TIPS TO SUCCEED WITH THE IRIDESCENT LOOK
1. Embrace the unnatural – don’t worry too much about how the colours will go with your skin tone, that’s not really the point of holographic makeup.
2. However, it might be a good idea to take a look at your face’s shape, before you start draping. Focus on the cheekbones, brow bones, temples and the inner corners of your eyes.
3. BLEND. The idea is to give your face a holographic, soft glow that seamlessly connects your eye area and cheekbones. Lightly blend the product, using a fluffy brush in sweeping movements. Your fingers might come in handy too, when it comes to dabbing highlighter in the inner corner of your eye.
4. Keep it simple. If you love the iridescent look but don’t want to go full-on rainbow, keep the rest of your makeup as simple as possible. A little mascara might be good though.
