H&M are happy to exchange or refund any unsuitable garments within 30 days provided they are in a resalable condition. We regret that for reasons of hygiene we are unable to refund or exchange earrings, cosmetics, underwear, swimwear (excluding bikini tops).
Returns with original receipts
We offer an exchange or refund of unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise, within 30 days of the purchase date. A full refund will be issued in the original form of payment unless a merchandise credit is requested. Merchandise credit receipts are not considered original receipts. Merchandise returned after 30 days will be refunded at the last activity/sale price or the current selling price, whichever is lower, in the form of a merchandise credit. H&M RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCESSIVE RETURNS WITHOUT A RECEIPT.
Returns without a receipt
Without a receipt, customers will receive the current or last activity price, whichever is lower, in the form of a merchandise credit. Merchandise cards are not transferable. All merchandise must be returned in the original selling condition. Valid photo ID is required for all returns without receipt.

Gift Card purchases and discounted final sale merchandise are not eligible for refund or exchange. Underwear, swimwear (excluding bikini tops), cosmetics and earrings are final sale.
Credit card refunds
Returns made to a credit card can only be refunded to the card used for the original purchase. Due to varying bank policies, please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear.
We accept the following methods of payment: Cash, Debit, Master Card, Visa, Amex, Diners Club, Discover and Canadian Travellers Cheques. You may also use gift cards at any H&M store.
