That commitment is supported with our in-store training programs, seminars and workshops, which are available to all of our employees. Our H&M principle is to recruit talent from within the company whenever possible. This means that our staff has incredible opportunities for development within many different areas. For example, our new managers have the opportunity to participate in our paid training program (lasting up to 15 weeks) which takes place within our stores. This gives each future manager valuable insight into the H&M culture that they will use to develop other employees. Helping our employees to develop their skills and strengths is a great benefit to all of us and our continued success and growth. Every new employee hired is guaranteed an orientation day and a training plan that will follow our company training philosophy, "learning by doing".

The length of the training depends upon the individual's job role. Training with H&M is a hands-on experience that allows each individual to play a greater role in their training process and their personal development. Questions, constant feedback and follow-up will ensure the best growth potential for the individual.

All positions offered in H&M are contingent upon proper completion of our training program. Once completed, the individual is able to begin working in their new home store with a greater awareness of the H&M and their responsibilities within the company.
