What happens if I lose my gift card?

H&M is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of a gift card.

Where can I check the balance of my gift card?

If your gift card has a PIN code you can check your balance here. Please note that you need to enter both the card number and PIN code. If your gift card doesn’t have a PIN code you can check your balance in stores or by calling customer service TOLL-FREE at 855-HNM-SHOP (855-466-7467).

Can I use a gift card in a different country from where it was bought?

No, the H&M gift card must be used in the country where it was purchased. For the United States, you can use the gift card in the US and Canada.

Can I cancel my order of gift card?

H&M gift cards can be cancelled before dispatch, but not after. Please contact customer service TOLL-FREE at 855-HNM-SHOP (855-466-7467) and we will be happy to assist you.

How long are gift cards valid for?

Gift cards have no expiration date and have no service fee.

Where can I buy a gift card?

In any H&M store or online at hm.com or other select retailers.

Where can I use a gift card?

You can use it at any H&M store location in the United States and Canada. Please note that the H&M gift cards cannot be redeemed online yet.

What are the delivery fees for a gift card?

All Gift Card orders are shipped using standard USPS delivery and are free of charge.

Where do I find the PIN code of my gift card?

Your PIN code is located on the back of your gift card. Just scratch the grey box on the back to reveal it.

Can I add value to my gift card?

Yes, if it still has a balance on it, otherwise you will need a new card. Please visit any H&M store to add value to your gift card, as it cannot be done online.

How long will it take for my gift card to arrive?

Standard delivery takes 3-5 business days but we recommend you allow the full 5 days, so your gift card reaches you in time. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed the next business day. Please note that there is no tracking with standard delivery.

Can I add a personalized message to my gift card?

Yes, you can. Your personal message will be printed on an additional message card and placed within your choice of carrier.

Why can't I see my Gift Card transaction in my 'My H&M' account?

As our Gift Cards are provided by a 3rd party vendor we are unable to show these trasnactions on your 'My H&M'. All purchasing information will be listed in your confirmation email which you will receive once you hve completed your purchase.

What is the maximum value that can be added to a Gift Card?

The maximum amount that can be added to each Gift Card is $250.

Can I deliver the Gift Card to an alternative address?

Yes, you can choose to send the Gift Card to your billing address or directly to the person it is intended for.

What is the maximum quanitiy of Gift Cards that can be purchased online?

The maximum number that can be purchased is 5 Gift Cards.
