As a blogger, fashion editor and trend forecaster, it comes as no surprise that #LFW is one of the most hectic periods of the year. The newly minted jewellery designer's approach to fashion is effortlessly elegant, as she even manages to make the super casual chunky knit and skinny jeans combo look cool.

We caught up with the style maven in London for a shoot with photographer Adam Katz Sinding and a quick-fire Q&A about potatoes, Jane Austen and rescuing dogs.

WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON?
"I admire so many different women's styles but don't really have one icon as such. I love how unique and effortless Caroline de Maigret always looks and Jane Birkin's summer style was too perfect."

WHAT IS YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE?
"Being comfortable is always really important to me and I always prefer to be underdressed rather than overdressed."

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER?
"Right now I'd have to say Jonathan Anderson and Jacquemus, and I'm really excited to see how Natacha Ramsay-Levi continues to reshape Chloé. I'm also a long-time Isabel Marant fan."

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE ON EARTH?
"Cuixmala in Mexico was complete and utter paradise. I don't think I've ever felt that relaxed. The beaches, the wildlife, the views; everything was perfect. Or my parents' farm in the U.K. That's my happy place."

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
"Potatoes any way. Roasted, mashed, boiled with butter and mint... I'm obsessed. Followed closely by chocolate."

IF YOU HAD TO LEAVE YOUR APARTMENT IN A HURRY, WHAT WOULD YOU GRAB?
"My phone, passport, wallet and photographs of all my family."

WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO LOOK?
"Jeans, a white t-shirt, a big oversized cashmere jumper, a great pair of boots and my leather jacket."

WHY IS FASHION IMPORTANT?
"It's how you say who you are to the world and to yourself. Even if you don't care and have no interest, that says something about how you're feeling. It's part of our identity and something to have fun with."

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN HISTORY, WHAT FASHION ERA WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN?
"I've always loved the 1970s; it's the decade I go back to again and again style-wise. But I'd have to say, I'd love to go back to Austen-era 18th century and dress like Gwyneth Paltrow in Emma. For a day or two at least!"

WHAT ITEM WOULD YOU NEVER PART FROM?
"My black leather biker jacket. I'd be lost without mine."

What did you want to be when you were a child?
"A vet. I was constantly wanting to rescue and adopt everything I came across. Not much has changed; I'm looking for a rescue dog as we speak."

WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY FASHION PLEASURE?
"Sheepskin slippers. They're the first thing I put on when I get home after a long day."

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET?
"Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Brené Brown. Two super-inspiring women."

WHAT DO YOU NEED RIGHT NOW?
"I'm just coming off the back of a crazy work month so I'd have to say sleep, a home-cooked meal and a holiday in that order."

WHAT IS YOUR LATEST BEAUTY DISCOVERY?
"Glossier. It's not that new but it has just launched in the U.K. I'm obsessed with the milk jelly cleanser, the haloscope highlighters and Boy brow."
